Reviews and Ratings
I had a varied experience at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The hotel took commendable measures for Covid safety which made me feel comfortable during my stay. However, some aspects like the outdated rooms and mediocre dining options left me wanting more. The staff were attentive, but the overall service didn't quite meet my expectations, especially for a place of this brand's reputation.
My stay was quite mixed. The hotel had excellent valet service and a warm, welcoming staff who took care of our needs, but I encountered significant issues with the room quality and cleanliness. The dining experience was underwhelming due to dirty cutlery and glasses, which was unacceptable. While the staff did their best to accommodate, the overall stay didn't match what I'd expect from a hotel of this caliber.
This hotel offers a beautiful, spacious property with easy access to skiing and great amenities. I was impressed with the ski valet service, which greatly enhanced my skiing experience. However, there were some issues with room cleanliness and service that detracted from an otherwise enjoyable stay.
I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. On one hand, the location is perfect for skiers and the facilities like the ski valet and outdoor pools are fantastic. However, my first impressions were marred by issues with room cleanliness and service delays which really need improvement. The dining options were great, but there’s room for better breakfast offerings. Overall, while there are notable positives, I hope management addresses the shortcomings to provide a more consistent experience.
My stay was quite a mixed bag. The room I was given was extremely noisy due to its proximity to the elevators and had a lingering smell of cigarettes, which made it less than pleasant. On the bright side, the staff were professional and nice, and they generously waived my in-room dining bill after the dirty cutlery incident. Overall, this experience did not meet my expectations for a hotel of its supposed quality.
